Casements and Awnings |
Privacy with a Breeze. Hy-Lite's patented casement and awning windows offer the look of traditional glass block with the modern convenience of fresh air operability. Awning Windows Acrylic block awnings hinge at the top and easily crank outward from the bottom using a convenient fold-down crank at the base of the window. The awning features latches on the left and right sides for locking purposes. A removable tension screen is included to keep out pests while enjoying fresh air. Casement Windows Acrylic block casements hinge at either the left side or the right side, and crank outward from the right or left, respectively. Casements feature a latch on the non-hinge side for locking purposes, and also include a removable tension screen. Casements may be mulled together in the field to create twin casements that open in a similar fashion to French doors. Hardware All awning and casement window hardware components feature anti-corrosion protection for long-lasting durability. Installation Awning and casement windows are pre-framed and ready to install for new construction. The windows can also be ordered without the nailing fin for through-jamb mount in retrofit applications. Custom Sizes Awning and casement windows may be special ordered in custom sizes to the 1/8-in measurement.
