Manufacturing Operations Continue

Manufacturing operations continue to move forward at Hy-Lite facilities in Pensacola, Fla.

Hy-Lite, a U.S. Block Windows Company, will be continuing manufacturing operations during the COVID-19 response. Although Florida Governor DeSantis has issued a "safer-at-home" executive order, Hy-Lite has been categorized as an essential service and plans remain open at this time.

Currently, our supply of raw materials has not been interrupted, and we do not anticipate significant disruptions in the supply chain at this time. Our lead times therefore remain unaffected.

Hy-Lite's top priority is always the health and safety of our employees, and we are grateful that none of our employees have yet been affected by the virus. In order to further safeguard our valued team, we have implemented additional protective measures. These include:

-Enhanced daily sanitation protocols for common areas
-Enforcing social distancing in the office and plant operations
-Prohibiting visitors from entering the facilities before being screened
-Provision of hand sanitizer and antiseptic wipes throughout the facility
-Enhanced sick leave policies to ensure employees may stay home when they are ill or when they are caring for an ill dependent
-Guides for proper hand washing and social distancing protocols posted throughout the facility
-Remote working when feasible
-Education for employees on high-risk categories for COVID-19, and encouragement for them to take a leave of absence if they personally identify as high-risk

Hy-Lite will continue to make updates and keep the lines of communication open as any changes occur, and the company wishes health and safety to all during this challenging and uncertain time.
