Window Specialist Chooses Wrought Iron Windows for His Own Home

Just like any new homeowner, Cipriano Pantoja, Sr. had a lot of decisions to make when his custom home was built in 2017. One decision was easy. He knew he wanted Hy-Lite® Wrought Iron privacy windows in his master bathroom.

"I sell windows for a living and, with all the windows I've seen over the years, I knew we wanted those decorative glass privacy windows in our home," says Pantoja, who works as an outside sales representative for Builders FirstSource in Houston. "These windows are striking from both the inside and outside. They dress up the bathroom interior very well, plus the outside of our home.

"We had the home designed so these Wrought Iron fixed picture windows would be visible from the driveway side of the house with our brick and stone siding. We wanted to see them right away. Of course, since the master bath is on the first floor, these windows also provide us with the privacy we need in our bathroom space."

The 48-inch by 48-inch Wrought Iron fixed picture windows in Pantoja's home feature double-glazed construction. As part of the Private Elegance product line from Hy-Lite the feature higher-opacity privacy glass. While Pantoja selected tan vinyl frames for his windows, frames are also available in white, driftwood and bronze.

The remaining clear glass windows in the Pantoja home are Builders FirstSource vinyl-framed windows. The "marriage" of the standard glass windows and the privacy windows enhance the overall exterior look of the Pantoja family home.

"We've received tons of compliments on the windows," says Pantoja. "People see them from the outside of the house and insist on visiting our master bathroom to see them inside! That's a good incentive for us to always keep the bathroom in 'visitor ready' condition.
