Dining Room Transformation

Simple and elegant. That's the look Chuck and Diane Griffin wanted to create in their mid-century modern house when they renovated last year.

"When we bought the house it had one entire wall in the dining room made of glass block," says Charles Griffin. "We liked the glass block idea, but the wall wasn't really constructed safely, so we decided to make a change."

During the remodeling the Griffins rebuilt the key wall in the dining room and used three Hy-Lite acrylic block picture windows.

"These were the perfect addition to our home," says Dianne Griffin. "The acrylic block windows provide privacy, beauty and insulation. Plus, they honor the era of the house.
